Is there a good gaming laptop for around £1000? And no, I don't want any answers saying -Get a desktop for gaming- as I already have one, and do not need another desktop. So any laptop/notebook for £1000?

  1. You're not going to get anything anywhere as good for gaming on a laptop.  You can find decent ones like dells, but gaming is meant to be done on a desktop.  Use a laptop for things not as intensive.

  2. www.vigorgaming.com check out all there laptops there excellent

  3. Hey check out this Toshiba Qosmio computer:

    http://www.toshibadirect.com/td/b2c/pdet...

The reaoson I think this looks like a great computer is first off it has incredible value for money (costs less than 1000 pounds) and Toshiba makes excellent computers *my family has been using them for 10+ years and have loved them!*. And with that extra cash left over from buying the laptop you could buy XP Professional and install it so you can have an even better gaming machine!

Also you could check out an alienware laptop- those are supposed to be the best gaming line from what I've heard. Although I have never owned / used one everyone who does / has says their great / best gaming laptop:

    http://www.alienware.com/

    Good luck!

  4. I'd say to check out HP's Voodoo line of gaming rig's, but they can be expensive. I built a 1625 USD rig off the HP HDX base system.

  5. Alienware 9750 would be a good choice

  6. You can get a decent entry to mid level gaming rig for 1K pounds

    Gateway 7811-FX

    Toshiba x305

    HP HDX Dragon

a low level Sager/Alienware/Voodoo as also all obtainable for that price

  7. The Dell XPS series is very good gaming-wise and they have a great warranty/service.

You may also want to check out www.digitalstormonline.com, they have great products - including gaming laptops with a better warranty but are a bit more expensive.

Then theres Alienware laptops - which are really expensive but supposedly deliver good specs on graphics/gameplay.

And then theres Clevo brand laptops which is what many pc companies use (including Alienware) for some of their laptops. Dont know if theyre reputable though.

    Good luck.
