Hi,

I've nearly finished my a-levels and thinking of going to france for a month or two to practice my french speaking as i have done french gcse and (am going to finish) french a-level...

i would like to know about visas and stuff....i have been on gap year websites and they say i need a visa to go to france, but i wouldnt think i do because it's only a month, and if i went on holiday to france, i wouldn't need a visa would i ?

  1. If you're British (or Irish) you don't need a visa to live, study or work in France for any amount of time.

If you're a Canadian, a Kiwi or an Aussie (I think that covers all the other English speaking countries that use the term "A-Levels") you'd need a visa only if you plan on staying in France over 90 days.
