Garage Door Opener Remote for Lynx Pro Line

Question

I moved into a buddy's house who has the LYNX PRO LINE 1/2 HP Garage Opener. He only has one opener remote for it that he uses. I tried to earch online for a Lynx remote I could pick up but no luck so far. I picked up one of those generic garage door openers from home Depot but it did not work either.

my question is... does anyone know where I can pick up a opener remote for this type of door opener? OR is there a good universal remote that would work for this sort of garage opener.

any suggestions/ideas are welcome. thanks guys

Ah.  I share the same problem.  Bought a Klic2 from Clicker Products.  After MUCH research and trying ALL the codes (regardless - because I was convinced I would succeed somehow) it turns out that the Linx Pro 455 (Model 2211L) operates on a frequency of 303 Mhz.  All the other garage door openers operate at different frequencies: the so-called generics at something like 390MHz or 315MHz... or something like that, anyways.  The bottom line is that the Home Depot products currently being sold as "compatible with EVERY Garage Door Opener" (as clearly stated on the actual package) are NOT compatible with Lynx.   In case you are interested, the Lynx garage door opener comes from Lynx products which originates out of New South Wales, but has mfg and distribution in North America.  Their very meager and virtually useless website is located here:  http://www.lynx-nsw.com  I emailed the company for a user manual (which is NOT available for download on the website) earlier today.  We'll see if they respond.  Totally frustrating.

I have lost my remote control for one side of my garage. Can I switch the other remote for the other door to make it work for the door that I don't have  the remote for anymore?
