Garage Sale Signs?

Every year we have 1 or 2 garage sales. At first I made really nice eye-catching signs with large print that was easy to read (i painted the words HUGE SALE).. well anyways, since then everyone having sales around us has "HUGE SALE" on their signs. This year we are having our sale at my sisters house in another city. (there are 5 or 6 of us going in and putting our stuff in her sale) The twon she lives in is having a "city wide" garage sale that weekend- so there will be lots of 'competition' with other sales. I'm making the signs today- but not sure on the wording. She lives off the main road in a sub-division and i'm not sure- but usually others on the road have sales that day too. I want the wording simple- like 2 or 3 words.. so should I put "BLOCK SALE" or :MASSIVE SALES" or something? Any ideas?

Try using black poster board with white letters, like the kinds you use on mailboxes. It will stand out.

I just wrote my ad.  Its called BIG AWESOME SALE.  and has a line that says FREE STUFF.

If you are worried about competition...then go the extra mile in advertising with your sale...I would suggest creating a free sale on http://salenook.com and linking your user page on craigslist.org...people will see the effort...and if you add images to your salenook sale...you will likely drive traffic to your sale that is more likely to purchase your products!
