Garage is stuck and don't know what wrong

Question

Both of my garage's are stuck and it's kind of wierd because we don't use one of them, what could be wrong with them

Do you have an automatic garage door opener or is it manual?

Possibilities:

wheels are off track

rust

bent (maybe someone ran into the garage door w/ their vehicle and you didn't notice)

unplugged/no electricity/dead remote battery

swelling

if they are wood doors and it's been raining ,they could be swelled up from being wet

If they're electric check the batteries in your remote.  If it's electric and there's a spring it could be that the springs are broken and need to be replaced (14 bucks at home depot).  Maybe it's off the track because something bumped it.

check the springs the one you dint use may have been broken for a while if it is a extension spring lift on the side that's broken

Not sure how a garage can be stuck.  If both garage doors won't open and they have openers on them, it probably is the power going to the openers.  Most likely it is one circuit supplying both openers.  Have you checked the circuit breaker or looked for a GFCI outlet that is tripped?
