I'm using garageband towards my coursework for my music. I have laid down guitar tracks, bass tracks and a drum track. But. Now i left the worse till last. the vocals. i have the lyrics so that's all good but i hate my singing so much. I'm 15 so my voice hasn't develeped fully.I have been through all the vocal effects on garageband but none seem to fit my voice. (im singing it not shouting it). Can any one suggest what effect sounds good for a 'beginner' voice or a custom effect? thanks!

  1. I don't know garageband, but Pro Tools and Nuendo allow plugins such as Autotune.  Main problem with most vocalists is pitch.  If you are just a little bit off, Autotune will tighten it up.  Also, a slight chorus sometimes helps out of key vocals.  Throwing a slight reverb on it can wetten up the sound slightly too.
