Garbage Disposal problem

Question

garbage disposal is leaking from under the disposal unit....what is it.

 

I turn the water on and have a bucket under the sink to catch the dripping of water from the disposal.

 

It is a regular everyday garbage disposal that probably all homes have.  In my case, an apartment.  It is only 6 years old and I hardly use it anyway,my disposal is leaking too, but from a small hole in the side. It's a Kenmore 115 volt model 175.60101. Looks like the hole is supposed to be there, little small, round hole, little smaller than a pencil. I want to put putty in it!
