The two strongmen of Lille discussed the future of the northern club in a press conference with Rudi Garcia claiming that he is happy at Villeneuve d’Ascq
After finishing third in the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 standings, LOSC Lille have a chance to play in the UEFA Champions League for another season. In order to make sure they do play in the tournament, Les Dogues will have to come out good in the qualifiers.
Furthermore, the future of coach Rudi Garcia is as important as the club itself. Holding on to the astute tactician is of paramount importance. In the last few years, the Frenchman has made Lille one of the biggest clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
And, the northerners don’t have to worry about the future of their coach as he says that he is looking forward to begin his fifth season in charge of the club. Garcia also says that he is happy at the club and there is a project underway which needs to be
looked at.
“It is quite exceptional to begin your fifth season at a club. I’m at home here. The club is constantly changing, a bigger stadium is going to be there. The president has worked for several years so that we have high structures and ambitions not just in
France, but in Europe as well.”
Garcia then added that he is glad to be working with honest and serious people who care about the club. The Frenchman further added that Europe is a priority for the club and said that all players would be retained apart from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Eden-Hazard-c11863.
“There are some special cases. The departure of Eden for instance. Of course, we need decisive players who are capable of scoring goals and providing assists.”

Furthermore, it’s important for Lille to end their summer transfer activity earlier than most clubs as for them, the new season will start a bit earlier.
