After failing to lure Daniele Di Rossi to the Etihad Stadium, City went on to turn their attention to Garcia, as they made a massive eighteen million pound bid for the midfielder.
The Spaniard, who has already played for Real Madrid, is set to take on his former employers, as City are going to be playing Madrid in the Champions League’s group stages.
Garcia is looking forward to the Champions League, which sees City having been paired up with Ajax and Borussia Dortmund, along with Madrid.
