how do i apply for garda clearance in ireland, what do i need to do and where do i send it to? i need to have it for a job

Find out which station is in charge of the area your job is in and call them.

if the job is for childcare position you need to apply to the childcare directorate, the company you work for should be able to give you the form for this.

Other than that apply to the Garda Commissioner in the Phoenix Park
