I got the first shot in jan 2007, and had really bad flu like symptoms that put me to bed for 2 days. Then I was fine.

The second shot was in april 2007 and two days later i had little red lumps on my genital area. i got treatment and they went away and never came back. this freaked me out, but no re-occurence since.

The third i got in september 2007 and nothing happened.

What are your experiences after having it? Any comment and personal experience appreciated.

  1. I have decided against the shot. Because it is so new, and they have done very little long term testing on it. It's a personal choice.

  2. The only symptom I had was pain during the injection. It is a think shot! Owwie! Thankfully I am done. I felt like I was going to pass out on my last one.

  3. I got it last year before I started college and I had none of the usual symptoms that they said I might have.  I was completely fine after each shot.

  4. yeah i got it as soon as me and my mom heard about it cause she had cervical cancer.  i have had all three of them and ive had none of the symptoms that they said you could get.

it was probably just your body reacting to a new virus.

  5. I wouldn't get this even if I were in the age range to get it.  The long term affects are not known.

  6. The shot is great. It has so many fantastic benefits and I think everyone should get it. Thats weird that you had such an odd outbreak, you could have had something before you got it maybe?? I never had anything like that cept it hurt really bad!

  7. i got it [cause my parents made me haha] i've only had the first one but the only annoyance i had with it was that it stung really bad getting the actual shot and then my arm was a little sore for an hour or 2 but that was it.

i suppose after i go back and get the rest, we'll see... :)
