Garden Gnomes!?!?

Ahhh!!!

Is there a real animal or something called A gnome???

I looked up "Garden Gnome" to try to find some for my garden and it kept coming up with websites such as "save the gnomes .com" and stuff like that! Please inform me thank you!

a gnome is a fictitious creature, such as a fairy or a troll or a brownie, well, you get the picture.  They are said to live in gardens and are supposed to be good luck.

Not animals, no.  But they do need to be saved.  They are nearly extinct in some areas.  Please add more gnomes to the world.

But buying gnomes can be tricky.    Hope you find some good ones.

Yes, there are real gnomes, but only in certain countries. There are some very special tours you can travel on, where they take you to see different gnomes in different places.

Ireland, for example, has some very special green ones called Leprechauns - they speak very differently, and say "To be sure, to be sure," a lot.

In Australia, we have Italian speaking gnomes, not to be confused with ordinary plaster gnomes, and then of course we have bunyips.

Some people say they are animals, but my neighbour swears they are like gnomes.

And when they approach you to Save the Gnomes, give generously.
