Gareth Barry believes Manchester City shouldn’t worry too much about the Champions League
Manchester City midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Barry-c14423 has gone on to admit that the club shouldn’t spend too much time worrying about their Champions League qualifications, since what has to happen will end up happening either way.
Barry insists the team should now just focus on trying to beat Bayern Munich and hope for a favourable result elsewhere, as opposed to thinking about what might happen in the other fixtures taking place, since they would end up affecting the team’s performance
in their game.
Barry, when talking about the mentality that his side need to adopt is quoted to have said:
“We can't worry too much about what's happening elsewhere”
“All we know is that if we win, we have a chance of going through.

“We have a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 to do and we have to hope that Villarreal can do us a favour on the night.”
The player then admitted that motivation would not be at an all time high with the German club, given the fact that the team has already made it through to the next round. However, he also feels that City might not be really focused on their game, given
the circumstances that the team will be playing the game in.
“Will they be motivated knowing they are already through? I don’t think they will need to try and lift themselves for a game like this – but neither do we.”
City have shown great form in their domestic league, the team is currently on top of the Premier League table and have been running havoc every time they take to the field in their domestic fixtures. In fact, the team is yet to lose a game in the Premier
League.
However, things are quite different in the Champions League, the team has not yet managed to put its foot down and is yet to prove their worth on the European stage. However, should they manage to somehow make it through to the next round of the tournament,
they would have ample time to go on and prove their worth to the rest of Europe.
