http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez will stay at Manchester City – Premier League Update
Manchester City midfielder and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international, Gareth Barry has gone on to state that he is hopeful over the future of Carlos Tevez at the Etihad Stadium. The midfielder has admitted that the striker was on the brink of moving out of the club, but
it seems like he might just end up staying at the club. Having said that, Barry then went on to admit that should that happen, it could prove to be a blessing in disguise for the team.
Barry then went on to state that last season was one which saw Tevez perform exceptionally well and now with Aguero in the team, the duo could link together to cause havoc, every time they take to the field.
“We saw last year how much we relied on him, Sergio’s [Aguero] started on fire and hopefully Carlos can be a part of it too"
Barry then went on to highlight the fact that the City fans welcomed Tevez back with open hearts, as the player was cheered onto the pitch, when he was brought on to replace Aguero this past Sunday.
“He got a great reception from the fans and he did his bit. I’m sure he’ll get his chance.”
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601, who has been exceptionally good in the first two games for City, has gone on to admit that City have developed tremendously as a team and hopes for the Manchester based club to maintain the form that they have picked up. At the same time, he was
delighted with the team in the opening two fixtures and seemed to be taking the humble approach when handed over the man of the match bottle.
“I’m happy with the last two games and thanks for the [man of the match] bottle of champagne but it’s for the team"
Having won their second game in a row, City are now top of the Premier League table with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 joining them on top. Despite this early start not giving us a clear indication of what to expect from the rest of the season, what can be said assuredly is that
City are finally living up to their potential.
Now all City really need to do, is sort out the future for their star players and hopefully they will be able to retain Tevez as well.
The team already has Edin Dzeko, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 to run riot and should Tevez decide to join in, it can only spell good news for City and disaster for their upcoming opponents.
