Gareth Ellis confirms that he wants to wrap up his career in England - Rugby

The Sydney based Gareth Ellis has confirmed on Thursday, October 27 his return to home soil in England, to wrap up his concluding years at rugby league.
The second rower explained that he would like to finish off his career in England, although he still has two more years with his current Australian franchise, Castleford Tigers.
While sharing the reason for his return to England, the prop stated, "I love coming home. Towards the back end of the year I look forward to getting back on English soil and catching up with the family. I've got two years left at the Tigers and then I'd
like to finish off my career over here. It surprises people, especially in Australia, but I'm pretty adamant that I'll come back. I never went with the intention of staying. I'm really enjoying what I'm doing but I do definitely see myself coming back."
Ellis’ immediate plans include getting married to his long-time girl friend, Rachel, in Yorkshire on December 3 and then the couple will head out for Maldives for their honeymoon. But these plans will not change anything about his return to Leeds, where
he helped his team win the Grand Final in his last match for them in 2008.
He further admitted that when he started off playing for Tigers, back then he was not good enough for his childhood favourite franchise and until now has never scored any try with them at all and wishes to wrap up his career at English soil.
He also cleared out all cob webs about his linkage to any club for the time being. He further explained how is his tenure in rugby took him places. He moved from his birth place Castleford to play for Wakefield and then for Leeds.
He said that it is not yet clear where his future lies but it may be attached to any of the sides. He is hoping for new doors opening up for him in future because he really wants his wrap-up in England.
Gareth has served for the English national team for past seven years and confirmed that he sees a great deal of progress in the English side which is currently residing on the third spot within the listings.
