Gareth Ellis might return to final clash against Australia of Four Nations - Rugby

While addressing a press conference on Tuesday, November 15, the English side shared that it is hoping to have their second rower, Gareth Ellis, fully recovered from his injury before Saturday's Gillette Four Nations final against Australia, which is scheduled
to take place in Elland Road, Leeds.
The player could not be part of the previous sudden death encounter of the Gillette Four Nations played against last year’s world champions, New Zealand. Commenting about Ellis’ recovery from his back injury, English coach, Steve McNamara said, “Gareth was
very close to being fit and I would be surprised if he wasn't available this week.”
Tim Sheens, the Australian coach, is Ellis' club boss at Wests Tigers and acknowledged the significance he carries for England and said, "I think they missed him when they lost him against us. He was having a strong game. He's a quality player and you want
to have all your people available if you can."
However, his absence did not reflect on the outcome of the previous clash, as the English side annihilated 28-6, the opponents of the showdown, in order to confirm their berth in the final clash of Four Nations.
According to the league analysts, English side has picked up momentum, with their recent win against the Kiwis. The victory has given them the confidence boost, which will help them avenge their 30-26 loss against Kangaroos, at Wembley.
The Kiwis skipper, Kevin Sinfield, is pleased with his side’s win at this point in the series not he acknowledged that he will never get carried away in their happiness. The skipper himself had given a match-winning performance, booting a total of six goals
for his side, which handed him the honour of walking away with the man-of-the-match title.
Not only Sinfield gave an on-field proof of his side’s strength, with his six goals, but contributions from; Tom Briscoe, Sam Tomkins, Ryan Hall and James Graham, were also noteworthy. It is expected that if they emulate their last Sunday’s performance in
the final show down of Four Nations, the probability of clinching this year’s Four Nations title are high.
