  1. Well garlic purifies the blood hun, so I don't see what you have to loose.

I've been giving my dogs garlic capsules for over two yrs & they don't have any fleas, so it probably could well work on mosquito's too.

    Good Luck. X :-)

  2. Garlic capsules are okay but eating marmite is supposed to help the little swines from biting as well

  3. I have heard that Garlic helps to prevent mosquito bites but I recently read that Marmite is the best as they cannot stand the smell of the stuff. Hope you like Marmite though, because like the advert says "you either love it or hate it".

It always pays to take a tube of anti-histamine cream to apply should you get bitten. I take a tube when away because you can be eaten alive in the UK too.

Have a good holiday and hopefully, mozzie free.

  4. Lavender oil is good. Avon skin so soft oil (blue bottle) is excellent.

Increase your B vitamin intake before you go.

And if you are bitten - rub it with the inside of a banana skin.

  5. mosquito cream is good, they don't all smell bad and they do the job and keeping the mosquitos away.  also, you can get mosquito patches, they are little blue sticky circles and you stick one of them to your t-shirt and it also keeps the mosquitos away.  I know these work because I live in Malaysia and my whole family use them alot, if you are concerned about people seeing the patches you can stick them to the inside of your clothes too, and they arent really that big.  In my experience i've found that garlic capsules don't work.
