Garmin NUVI 650 acquiring satellites

Question

Hello,

  My wife is on the road and her garmin will not acquire a satellite signal.  She says when she powers it up, it briefly shows a page which says "uploading gps update 0%"  then it goes to the regular menu screen but can't find satellites and, therefore, can't give her directions. I talked her  through the master reset and it still hasn't been able to find satellites.  but it did flash that message again.  Any solutions??
