Garrido does not like the extreme attitude being shown by some of the fans but stated that they will give their best to change it.
The 42-year-old is also unhappy with the criticism being pointed at him and talked about it during his meeting with journalists.
“It is time to work as a team and find solutions together. When everything goes well, it is great and when they are bad, the coach seems to be the culprit. It is an extreme situation for everyone," he said.
He said that he is ready to take responsibility of his actions, understanding that he is the face of the team. The team needs to start churning out the results expected of them, and he is aware of his duties.
Garrido stated that he is reorganizing his team to get better results, as they are playing no way near their full potential.
The Yellow Submarine have been plagued by injuries this season and have not been able to pick up their game.
In prior seasons, the incoming personnel were able to pick off where the others had left off. This term, however, the team is a mess altogether.
Additionally, first choice players have not had a continuous run and the constant revolving door of players in the starting eleven has not helped them in any way.
Nevertheless, the Villarreal coach is convinced that they can push through the bad patch.
"What you have to do is play better and have more success. The first step is to restore the proper functioning of squad and from there reach results,” Garrido commented.
The manager believes that if they follow this cycle, they will be able to win matches on the road and emulate the lofty standards they have set for themselves.
