Garry Glitter why is he not already on the s*x offenders register in the UK ?

Watching the news today got me thinking,considering he has a past history of such crimes,why is he not already on the child s*x register is there a reason for this ?

Now that he is here he will sign the book where his name appears.

(ANS) YES!! a VERY GOOD QUESTION indeed. I know he was arrested & prosecuted for downloading child p**n found on his laptop in the UK. I'm just wondering why he wasn't forced to be placed on the s*x offenders database & register at that point.

**The more recent child abuse offenses were committed in Vietnam & so those presumably are not relevant now given he has completed his sentence. But given that he has no were else abroad to go & coming back into the UK he now is forced to sign the s*x offenders register. He will have a MUCH harder time here in the UK from now on, he will be hopefully more closely watched over.

**Paul Gad has no where to hide or escape now here in the UK, everyone knows who he is & what he has done. He will NEVER ever be able to live this down. He has been exposed & publicly shamed.

He "was" on it. Maybe that expired ??

This will be the 2nd time he has gone on it. This time I think he stays for life.

Good question why indeed, I am amazed he is not already on it, well better now than never with his high profile it is going to be hard to hide lets hope he doesn't know a moments peace.

Until he signs the book he can not be placed on the register publicly. He was arrested abroad so has not yet signed.
