Only if you want to. I'm not keeping mine. I just never thought about it lol. You can buy garter sets that come with one to throw and one to keep. Some women like to keep them. I think its just personal preference.

I didn't keep mine. My husband threw it to all the bachelors.  But I have heard of some people having two. I guess it would be up to you if you want a keep sake one. Good luck with the wedding. :O)

You have your garder and if you do that lame *** throw the garter thing, then you have a separate one that he takes off you and throws.

a garder is a type of underwear so this is equivilent to him throwing your panties.

I had two. One that was made by his mother that he kept. The other I picked up really cheap and he tossed it.

It is not absolutely necessary that the bride wear two garters.

However it is usually done in order that the groom have his own memory keep sake.  

The Groom's Garter (traditionally called) goes on first so that the groom knows which garter is to be removed and avois any errors.

I'm going to have two and I believe most people do.  The one I am keeping was made by my late grandmother and the other one I'm just going to buy.  It's all up to you! Good luck!

Well I would keep as many as are necessary to avoid having your stockings pool at your ankles. Many stores offer decorative ones so that you don't need to throw actual useful underwear, so you don't need to break up a set of real garters and then have one left to worry about.

i know that for me ill have one that is to keep and the one he takes off will be a marine corps. one (hes in the marines :P)
