Garter snakes and what they eat?

do they eat mealworms. i have a bunch of them. and the internet said they'd eat earthworms... soooo

EARTHWORMS.... I OWN A GARTER SNAKE AND THAT IS WHAT HE EATS AND THAT IS WHAT TEH VET TOLD US TO FEED HIM. MEALWORMS ARE VERY DANGEROUS BECAUSE SNAKES DONT CHEW THEIR FOOD. THERE FOR SWALLOW IT WHOLE. AND MEALWORMS CAN ACTUALLY EAT THEIR WAY OUT FROM INSIDE THE SNAKE... UNFORTUNATELY THIS HAS BEEN A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE. SO DEFINITELY GO WITH THE EARTH WORMS.

Earthworms, fish (only certain kinds to prevent thiamine deficiency), pinkies (frozen/thawed) and they make a pre-packaged garter snake food.  Here is an excellent link:

I wouldn't feed them mealworms very dangerous. You can feed them Earthworms. You shouldnt give feeder fish to em 40 percent of the fish can have parasites in them. You can buy fish that u eat. Such as tilipia w/e its called.

mkae sure no meal worms but not only earthworms vary the diet or it will die
