Gary Anderson will not be seen at the European Darts Open, he is the most unfortunate dart thrower of the month!
Gary Anderson will miss the European Darts Open because of his eye problem. He also missed the Players Championship due to the same issue and has now confirmed that he is not a part of the European darts event.
Anderson has been in outstanding form recently but his medical problems have appeared at the worst time possible.
The Players Championship was a tournament where Anderson could have easily outshined the rest of the lot. His form was amazing at the UK Open where he hit his first televised 9-dart finish.
“It's very special, I've never done one on TV before so it's very nice to hit one here, The nine-darter actually came a bit early in the game for me because it was only the third leg and I started thinking about it and lost my focus on the game, but I came
good,” said Anderson at the UK Open last month.
It was believed that Anderson is the strongest player in the Players Championship and the European Darts Open but his health has not been on his side lately.
On the other hand, Phil “The Power” Taylor has announced that he wishes to grasp one more world title and he may retire in 3 years.
This news has stunned the fans and they have depicted their concerns for Taylor’s future through various social websites.
Phil is arguably the most ‘popular’ figure in the world of darts and is considered as the most gifted darts magician the world has ever seen.
Australian wizard Simon Whitlock remains ‘title-less’ and remains the best dart thrower who has never won a major title after reaching the finals.
Adrian Lewis has added more to his misery and he made an early exit at the Players Championship. “The Jackpot” has clearly lost his signature touch at darts and remains in poor form. The World Matchplay is the last stop that Lewis has to save his world number
2 spot at the ranking.
Gary Anderson is easily the most unfortunate player of the month. His eye problem has shown up at the worst time possible and his excellent form has gone fruitless.
