The former Bolton defender explains that the squad is disappointed and they felt as if they had lost the game after they gave up a three goal lead at Stamford Bridge in the English Premier League...
Cahill has come out and stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 are disappointed with their draw against Manchester United as the Blues threw away a three goal advantage to concede three goals in the second half and draw the match by three goals each
against Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s team. Manchester United were the better of the two teams in the first half but the English Premier League champions found themselves three goals down at the start of the second half courtesy of a fine performance from Chelsea.
However Sir Alex Ferguson’s men showcased their vintage Manchester United spirit as they rallied back from a three goal deficit and ended the match level with Chelsea. United were awarded two penalty kicks in the second half by
referee Howard Webb which were clinically converted by Rooney whereas it was Javier Hernandez who scored the equalizer for the Red Devils. C
Cahill said in his post-match interview, “It is a sickening feeling like we have lost the game. The mood is a bit flat and we are disappointed.  It was a fantastic game to be involved in and it was in at the deep end but these
are the games you want to be involved in, however any game you go 3-0 up you expect to win so that has put a dampener on my debut.”
He added, "The second half we started fantastically well and went 3-0 up and really should have seen the game off from there, but the second penalty was disappointing. The first one was probably a penalty but the second one was
right in front of me and I didn't think it was a penalty at the time and seeing the replay I haven't changed my mind, so that went against us at a crucial part of the game."
