Gary Fisher wahoo vs. Cannondale?

Question

I am about to purchase a gary fisher wahoo which is 500$ I want it for mostly road and a little bit of trail riding. Should I go with the Wahoo or is there a better cannondale that is better quality for 500$? The Wahoo is http://www.fisherbikes.com/bike/model/wahoo-disc

which would you reccomend or is there a better one???

Neither, if you are mainly on the road, get a fitness hybrid.  Trek makes the 7.3fx or 7.5fx, if you want to spend a bit more.  You will hate yourself if you ride a mountain bike primarily on the road.  Heavy, slow, and cumbersome, not necessarily in that order.

Both are good bikes;  it comes down to which one rides better for you.

I agree with M V.  I just bought the F7 (with V's) and I really liked it.  I haven't ridden the wahoo, so I can't really tell.  It just comes to which one fits you better.
