Gary Neville believes April 2011 is going to be a big month for Manchester United – EPL news
Former Manchester United right-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Neville-c14447 believes that April 2011 is going to be a big month for the Red Devils- the biggest he has seen in his 20 years at the club.
He said, “You really have got games now every weekend and midweek - it's probably as big a month as I've seen in my 20 years here when you look at the matches coming up in the next four or five weeks and the scale of them. From that perspective, it's just
about making sure the preparations are the same and keeping the players fit and you don't get sending offs.”
The Red Devils are looking to repeat their heroics of the treble winning season in 1999. They are looking to add the Barclays Premier League, FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League titles to the Old Trafford trophy cabinet in the ongoing 2010-11 season.
Currently the Red Devils are on the top of the Premier League and have a five-point advantage over second placed Arsenal. They face Manchester City in the FA Cup semi-final and fellow EPL side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the UEFA Champions League quarter-final.
Neville believes it is a very important time for the Red Devils and manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s main concern will be to keep his squad fit for the important fixtures.
Neville said, “I think it's just simple things, there's no complication. Keep the players fit, make sure they're fresh and not over-trained, make sure they're prepared.”
United are facing major problems with their defence. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nemanja-Vidic-c27550 who has made a return from suspension is also doubtful.
Neville believes that winning the Premier League is the prime target for the Red Devils, while success in the FA cup and UEFA Champions League will be a bonus.
United will need to bring their best to the football field as the games are coming thick and fast. It will be interesting to see what the Red Devils can achieve come the end of the season.
