Former Manchester United defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 with the team.
Liverpool had a poor run in against Stoke City and then suffered defeat at the hands of Bolton Wanderers.
However, following those disappointing performances, the Reds went on to beat Manchester City in the Carling Cup and the managed to edge past Manchester United in the FA Cup.
In the game against United, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Ji-Sung-c29147 equalize for United. However, Dalglish went on to revamp his side during the half time break and the Reds came out of the tunnel with a point to prove.
They eventually did as their manager asked, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348 went on to score the winner just minutes from time.
When writing about Liverpool in his column, Neville is quoted to have written: "It seems as though he was angry at the professionalism of individuals and perhaps felt there was a lack of respect for the club [in the team's performance against Bolton]"

"But in the last seven days he has got the reaction he wanted, with a win in the Carling Cup semi-final and now the victory over Manchester United in the FA Cup. It has been an incredible turnaround."
During his playing days, Neville was regarded to be one of the players who hated Liverpool with a passion and for him to come forth and admit the team have really done something spectacular really means a lot.
However, it isn’t hard to agree with the former United full-back. Liverpool were being considered to see out another season without any trophies, but the team seems to have really picked things up.
They may be sitting in the seventh spot in the league table, but they are in the finals of the Carling Cup and seem to be on course to making it far in the FA Cup as well.
Should the team focus on winning a trophy this season, they could easily go on and end their trophy drought.
