The 35-year-old right back has just managed four first team attendances this season and was humiliated in his last one against West Bromwich Albion. The once ferocious right back was beaten on pace and positing by much younger Bromwich players and was fortunate
enough not to see red on his rash tackle on Graham Dorrans inside the penalty box. His lack of pace and overall presence led to him being substituted in the second half for youngster http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152.

Solskjaer had huge success with the reserves side in his two and a half years and managed to win every trophy available to him. With the manager also calling time on the great career of Edwin Van Der Sar by the end of the season, Neville’s departure from
football would be the end a great eon for Manchester United. Veterans Paul Scholes and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ryan-Giggs-c31985 are currently on a one-year contract extension but both of them are highly unlikely to be awarded another extension by the end of the season.
Gary Neville was part of United’s legendary youth batch, which brought players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Phil-Neville-c29904 in early 90s. Each of these players enjoyed great success with the club under manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
This was the side that won the historic treble in the 1999 season. The 35-year-old has managed 602 games for Manchester United since his first team debut back in 1992. He is the fifth on the all-time appearance list and is considered no less than a legend
among all United players, coaching staff and fans. Neville was never the sharpest knife in the drawer in terms of his skills but was the most compassionate and dedicated player to have climbed up the ranks at Manchester United.
In his illustrious career with the Red Devils, Neville has won 8 Premier league titles, 2 UEFA Champions league titles, 3 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and 2 FIFA Club World Cups. He is regarded the best right back in English football history from 1992 to 2002.
Neville has also made 85 appearances for the Three Lions.
Neville’s experience and commitment would come in handy for Sir Alex Ferguson as his days are almost over. Although the Scotsman has no intention to retire in the near future but would want players like Ryan Giggs, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Neville-c14447 to aid the
club, both during and after his time.
