Irish wicket-keeper batsman, Gary Wilson, who recently replaced Niall O’Brien in the national side, acknowledged it as an honour for him to be a part of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751’s national cricket team.
After suffering a humiliating seven-wicket defeat in the first one-day international (ODI), Irish men are competing with Pakistan in the second and final game of the two-match series, today, at Belfast, the hometown of Wilson.
Wilson, who has served his country in 30 ODIs, has 17 catches and six stumpings to his credit. Although, the right-hander failed to perform well with the bat in the previous game, he is confident to make a strong comeback today.

In the previous game on Saturday, May 28, 2011, the Irish team displayed their worst batting effort in international cricket as they collapsed on a paltry 96.

Wilson, however, claimed that the players have learnt a lesson from their mistakes in the last game. The second ODI against Pakistan is Ireland’s 100th international appearance in 50-over cricket and Wilson termed the game as a make-or-break situation
for the home side, as they cannot afford to lose another game.
“We are a proud team that has taken a knock so we will look to bounce back for sure," stated the wicket-keeper batsman.
