what I dont understand is, if they can put a tag on people like linsay lohan to monitor alcohol levels, why cant they put a tracking tag on him? that way the govt will always know where he is, and at what time.

It might not physically stop him from re-offending, but it'll make it near impossible to do it without getting caught.

Yes  he should be back here in England. The British people should get hold of him and hang him up in a public place for all to see. He should have his bits cut off slowly day by day,  Hanging or shooting is too quick , he should be made to suffer as he made those children suffer. Glitter really isnt much of a danger. Ok-there is a certain amount of danger with any pedophile being released. But this guy is widely known. If he moves into your neighborhood you are gonna know who he is instantly-thus you should warn your kids about him and not let them around him. Now if it was just a unkown person who did the same thing-thats a real danger because you wouldnt know who he is. Get what im saying? If i had my choice of having two pedophiles living next to me-one being Glitter and the other being some guy the world has never heard of i would rather it be Glitter because we know he is a danger-the other guy we dont.

Glitter is only a danger to those people who allow their children to be around him. And some people will be stupid enough to continue to do that. Just like with Michael Jackson-people know who he is and what hes about yet they continue to let their kids stay with him.

Im not taking up for Glitter-but the whole idea of Vietnam prosecuting him over this is kinda ironic. Child prostitution - while illegal there is actually widely accepted by the general public and pretty much ignored by the Vietnamese government and authorities. They only went after him due to his somewhat fame. I guarantee you right now in Vietnam there are girls the same age as the ones he nailed making a living doing the same thing and the countries government/law enforcement is turning a blind eye to it-probably profiting off of it as well. It doesnt make it right-it doesnt make Glitter innocent - but it just points out the hypocrisy  of the Vietnamese government.
