As I was doing my morning run I noticed that every gas station I passed that the prices went down. Something that I haven't seen in ages. Yesterday here in Iowa City, Iowa it was $3.99 a gallon this morning it was $3.89 a gallon thats a whole ten cents. Did this happen to anywhere else or just here.?

  1. I passed one store that was $3.84 then one closer to home is $3.99. I don't think there should be such differences. There's something not right there. They should all be about the same price. It's way too high now.

  2. Here in north Texas that happens all the time. There are regulations prohibiting too much of that however, it is illegal for a gas station to change the price more than once in a 24 hour time period. So it shouldn't happen too much.

  3. According to my wife, it happened yesterday in the Detroit area too.

  4. i was actually able to find gas for $3.83 yesterday...a real bargain but at the exxon up the the street, it was $3.94..we all know exxon doesnt make enough profit...but yes, has dropped..in my area tho...gas flucuates almost daily and as much as by 15 cents

  5. Ours never went above 3.79 but yes it is down.  You will see it fluctuate more erratic around the holiday (Labor Day) and in the fall.

  6. The price of crude oil dropped like $20 that week.  And yes, gas prices dropped abhout 10 cents in my area.

  7. Gas is gonna go down up to 2:60 by next year the stock market so are banks  are gonna go down
