Gas Prices in Ireland?

How much is a gallon of gas now in Ireland. I am going to be visiting Limerick and West Cork the end of June to early July. Also what is the weather like there that time of year also.

We use the metric system here, so we dont use gallons we use litres.

It depends I would say €1.26 - € 1.29 per litre, convert for US gallons, the sign posts are also in Kilometers here.

Gas is called petrol here, unleaded petrol is the norm.

Although Diesel powered cars are quite popular to. Diesels are more economical and give greater MPG,. While Diesels are not common in the states they are more common in europe and they are not as slow as they used tro be, The quality of european diesel is higher than the states,

firstly in ireland if you ask someone for gas they will give you something completely different then what goes in your car. Ask for petrol or Diesel - depending on what your car takes. also when ur in ireland you will by your petrol in litres not gallons as we use the metric system. petrol costs between €1.15 and €1.40 for a litre. and just so you know, road signs are in kilometres, not miles, for speed and distance.

at that time of year the weather should be okay but dont expect sunny skies everyday cos, well, its ireland!!!

By gas you mean petrol for the car, right? At the moment it's €1.23 to €1.28 per litre, so multiply that by 7 to get an approximate rate per gallon. And before you ***** about how expensive it is in Ireland, have a thought for the rest of Europe - in Germany and the Netherlands they are pay €1.50 plus per litre.

What's the weather like end of June and early July .....? We're talking about IRELAND, man. It could be ANYTHING!!!! If you want guaranteed sunshine, go to the Mediterranean.
