Gas Prices...why is everyone complaining?

Can't we do something like walk or carpool? I am so sick of this being the number one topic on the news. My grandmother's family didn't even own a car growing up and they survived and as an added bonus they were all in shape.

  1. Anybody remember Henry FORD?  How about the goofiest lefty tennis pro ever, the immortal Moaner, going 'Henri,' every shot, until her Spanish girlfriend out-barked her, like twice.  Yeah, that one, on Fed Cup, bangs team owner, yup.

Henry Ford complained about how the media of his day, in the early 20th Century, refused to publicize how hemp was the source, not only for the methanol and ETHANOL fuels, so controversial for reapplication of now-scarce corn, but also for PLASTICS, which Ford used, to make indestructible auto-body panels, in the 1930s.

Reality check:  Did ALL the boys and girls let the fat, deregulated power deals cook the books, since 2001, and then the fat FED hikes of 2004 ran, during the war to find Saddam, AFTER the US chased bin Laden off Reagan-incited Saddam, in order to enable arms for oil deals with the Saudis, which ran the anti-monarchist Muslims, into the Afghan and Iraqi conflicts?!

    GIRLS!  What were you thinking!

In California, we are going jogging, May 18, 2008, our Bay to Breakers.  Some of us will dress, as cars.  Some of us will NOT dress, at all.  Some of us will walk, some will run, but NOBODY in the throng will be driving, who isn't a cop.

The cops AND schools AND soldiers AND everybody have fat, unfair contracts, which you need to have terminated, when you all see fit, to smarten yourselves AND your girlfriends and Moms and boyfriends (good luck), or you are the great losers of the 21st Century, before 2012.

When women got the vote, they forgot to TAKE OVER and legalize everything.  Instead, the gals thought they'd sneak tricks, at a riot, where drugs AND females both need to be comprehensively re-legalized, OR WE DON'T GET TO HAVE OPEN BORDERS.  But then, some idiot let Abogado-media take all the open minutes, where's the mike?

No comprende?  Ask El Burro.  Those little donkeys are smart.  You can get one, and ride!  Way adorable, Senoritas.

Haha, somebody voted for Hillary, and she is dodging how she rallied for NAFTA, and nobody objected to the fat, deregulated power deals!  Got a crook on the dodge?  The crooks are all LAUGHING, at what is really hilarious!  LAWYERS, while bills of attainder roll around, everywhere.

  2. We are complaining because EVERYTHING GOES UP.  You must still be a student and live at home otherwise you'd notice how much groceries have increased, the thing you like to do cost of clothes, vacations etc.  Everything travels to the marketplace by truck.   I do not like paying $3 for a dozen eggs, $4 for milk, $2 for a head of lettuce etc.

  3. Times have changed.........not to mention most peoples work places are too far to walk to and carpooling probably only works if you live near each other.......make sense?

  4. Because many people still NEED to drive to get places.  And higher gas prices are keeping the trucking and shipping industry from delivering things like FOOD which is driving up the prices of EVERYTHING.

bobgnote, what the f*cking h**l are you smoking?!?  Put the bong down, then post.

  5. Dude you are freak'n stupid! Have you seen the gas prices??! 4.00 for a tank of it! Gayyy!

  6. I'd love to walk or carpool but here's my problems with that:

    1) I live 22 miles from work - that's not something I can walk to and from

    2) Where I work we have only three employees and all of us live in different directions and there's nothing around our office with any number of employees that might make carpooling possible.

So, Yeah, I'm complaining and doing it a lot. When I started working here 3 years ago it cost me about $40 a week to drive back and forth to work and run the necessary errands after work (choir practice, grocery shopping, etc.). Now it's double that. And I can assure you my salary has not doubled to keep pace.

  7. We're complaining because the oil companies are reaping record profits off our backs at a time when the economy is in the dumper! I'm beginning to think it is time for gas prices to be regulated like all other utilities.
