Gas and Elec - British gas vs Eon, which is better ?

Hi

Can someone tells which is better and cheaper for dual gas and elec ?

I have difficulty in accessing internet and finding information so just post a quick message to ask you guys.

I heard Eon is cheaper and they haven't increased their price. I have Tesco club card and earn points with them. Also Direct Debt and Dual Gas and Elec saves further 3% and 6% respectively.

Which should I choose ?

Use the price comparison sites to get the best deal for your individual circumstances.  No two properties are the same, as we all have different applicances and live different lifestyles.  You should look for a dual fuel fixed/capped rate tariff for 12 months or longer.  Alternatively a carbon offsetting or renewables tariff may provide a discount.  There are hundreds of different tariffs available and you have to contact the suppliers to pester them to give you the best deal.  Its also worth checking the level of insulation in your home (Grants are avalable for this from all major energy suppliers), and maybe changing older appliances for more energy efficient models (A rated).  Remember that if you reduce your usage, your bills will be correspondingly lower.
