Gas cost for an 8 hour trip?

I drive a dodge calibar. how much will it gas cost me on an 8 hour trip?

If you were to get 20 mpg, at 60 mph, that would be 3 gallons per hour (or about $12 per hour @ $4 per gallon).

So for 8  hours, that is $96 dollars.  But these days gas is little bit more than $4 per gallon.

If you have a truck that only gets 10 mpg, then you double that figure to $192 for the 8 hours.
