Gas guzzling?

Question

The car is a 1999 mitsu lancer with the 4G15 bottom and 4G13 head. The car gives 150 kms per full tank. guys with the same car gets 450Kms.....why could mine be using so much gas? Their engine is bigger 4g92..plz hel

Check your calculation! Your gas consumption does not make sense unless you have a hole in your gas tank. With your numbers, a big ol' Hummer seems to be much more fuel efficient.

Spend less time at 9000rpms, I bet that isn't doing your fuel mileage any favors.
