My car requires premium so it's 20c more.  And we have some of the cheapest gas compared to most of the world so we should feel lucky.

Its only 3.60 here filled up this morning.  Don't like it but not really much choice.

$3.70!?! Where? I paid $4.02/gal this morning in Michigan, and it's speculated to go up even more.

I don't like paying this much, but I've made sacrifices to help. Took off the roof racks from my truck, started driving 65mph on the freeway (made my mileage go from 22mpg to 26mpg), and quit making unnecessary trips.

Sidenote: how is the repbulican party and or Bush to blame?

The average price of gas was under $2.50/gal until 2 years ago. And at that point, the democratic party was put in control of congress, and oil/gas prices have skyrocketed, and the value of the dollar has plummeted... Has anyone thought about this?

I live in the Bay Area and it's already over $4.00 here and some places are even higher than $4.05. The cheapest place is Costco right now, my mom pays like $60-$70 every few days since we have 2 cars.

well we all would like it a lot cheaper lol.

here in Australia its $1.53 a liter so if you do your maths there is 3.785411 liters per gallon (US).  so we here are paying nearly $5.80 a gallon.

it is crazzzzyyyy that gas is that much   i heard it was because of Bush being from tx and all the Oil exc. are in texas and  so on  but it is so crazy for gas to be this high and it just keeps  going up more and more...   i think us as the people need to like stop buying gas for a couple of days   but  something has got to stop  because soon people arent gonna even be able to go to work and pay the bill buy food or anything because of gas  being so high

Well wait till it reaches $200 per barrel, it will be $7.00 a gallon then.

There was a time before this war, where I did get my regular gas for $.89 cents a gallon.  Seems like fiction but that is true.  And it was at a Raceway Gas Station in New Jersey.

What was once reality seems like total fiction now.

Something needs to be done, now. People arent even gonna afford to work because the drive to work is to expensive. So why don't we all quit working, go on public assistance and see what happens?  :)

Better than 5.00. Which it will be before you can say, "Gee I wish it were 3.70 a gallon again. Those were the good 'ol days."

Also better than waiting in a line of cars stretching around the block for it. For those of you too young to remember, this really happened. It almost seemed like the end of the world, spawning movies like "The Road Warrior". Watch it and see how bad things can really get.
