I am looking for a scooter that can hold at least 300 pounds The most I will be riding it is probably 25 blocks in one trip. Usually i just ride for 2 or 3 blocks. I need a scooter that will if its electric charge quickly. It has to go to a maximum of 20mph. I am not against a gas scooter. I just need one cheap and fair. Please help me.

  1. one will work for you. Electric has to be charged all the time. I would go for gas.

  2. Look at both of them.  If the electric can do the job and has a good recharge rate, why not the electric, but on the other hand if gas can do it a little faster and more economically, go gas.  What is the ROI.

  3. Electric. You can refill anywhere, anywhen.  And all your neighbors will think you're COOL for being eco, instead of hating on you for going BZZZZZZZZZ down their street.

One more bonus:  If it's raining you can take the electric on the bus.  The bus is a range extender for your electric scooter, you can go clear cross town if you want.

  4. buy a gas scooter. they can handle hills and speeds over 20 miles an hour very maturely. and they get 100 mpg, so it is gas responsible too
