  1. Cruise control will solve your problem  and get you better fuel mileage also.

Why do you keep pumping the gas?     Try shifting your foot a little to the right to gain some support from the doghouse.

  2. Sounds like you're having muscle control and coordination on your right foot.  Or maybe you're just nervous.  As the speedometer reaches the speed you want to level off, gradually, gently, ease the pressure back on the throttle, maybe half an inch. Say you're accelerating on surface street, and you want to level off at 40 MPH; when the speedometer reaches 35 MPH, then ease off the throttle a little bit, and listen and feel the engine.

When you get in the driver seat, and the engine is idling, the tranny is in park or neutral, give it some gas, and get the feel of the engine as it increases in RPM (revolutions per minute) as you give it some gas;----- then feel the RPM gradually slow as you slowly back off on the throttle.  Remember this feeling, as you give it some gas, and as you back off on the gas.  When you're later driving, you're going to listen / feel the engine's RPM.  As you accelerate, it will give a higher RPM feeling.    When you see you're approaching your designated speed, back off on the throttle, and feel the RPM slow down as well.

  3. im not sure what you mean but you could try pressing the gas peddle to the floor and releasing it and few times if that doesn't work try to oid the accelerator cable if that still doesn't work then you might have to take it to a shop to have something replaced

  4. it is a powerful car. i think you should pump it until the suitable speed and you release the gas paddle slightly.

  5. Try moving your seat closer to the front, and resting your heel on the floor. It makes it easier to maintain constant pressure on the gas pedal. Also, remember to take into account hills and such :)

  6. Cruise control.

  7. Umm..you need to take it to get fixed!  That is dangerous, ur gas peddal could go out at anytime, Then you wouldn't be goin anywhere!  I'd fix it if i were you, spending a little to fix it..should be worth ur safty

  8. I recently started driving too and i have that problem as well. It doesn't matter that much for around town, but on the highway i set the cruise control. I guess it will come with practice

  9. It just takes a while for your muscles to get used to finding the correct pressure. Don't push the pedal straight down to the floor. Try slowly pressing the gas pedal and find a good middle position that will accelerate the car smoothly.

  10. you arnt supposed to pump the gas, your supposed to freakin press it down and hold it...pumpung it does onothing

  11. Relax your foot, you're making me seasick thinking about it.

  12. Train your muscles by putting your right foot on the gas pedal and resting it near the side of the carpet or hump and you leg and foot will learn to keep it at the desired speed.

  13. Pixel nailed it, Move the seat forward you should have leg bent and your foot able to smoothly run the accelerator. You should be able to floor it without extending your leg to do it. And don't pump the gas you just waste time and fuel. you have a fuel injected engine that should run smoothly if you know how.

  14. cruz control
