  1. yes they are! it was 3.95 but now its 3.77! sad how we're excited about paying $3.77 for gas huh?

  2. h**l YEAH, this morning was 4.09 and its going to go down more. SWEET, now I can drive faster.

  3. ya i live in the valley in california and today i noticed one place at $3.97  (finally!)

  4. If anything it should be raised!

  5. Good, continue to drive it down by making efficient choices in the car you drive. The best way to affect prices are supply and demand.  Demand less and the price will be less.

  6. The price of gas is a Disgrace to all Governments who are allowing it to happen...

  7. Well gas prices will inevitably raise, this is just temporary, as we only have a finite source of oil it will only get higher.Better off petitioning for congress ...nvm what am i saying its congress.Live in the now and enjoy the prices lower. I paid 400 this month on gas

  8. I paid $3.75 and going down some more.......

  9. mhm in the bronx they are :]

    woot woot !

  10. I think gas prices are going down as a result of the oil companies' greed backfiring on them.

    Gas prices have gone up so high in such a short amount of time, that Americans are being forced to travel a lot less than they used to. So naturally, this created less of a demand.

    It's obvious that the oil companies' numerous excuses for high gas prices were a  bunch of  BS. If the companies were "forced" to increase gas prices, THEN HOW THE F*CK COULD THEY HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DISH OUT RETIREMENT CHECKS IN EXCESS OF $200,000,000 TO THEIR CEO'S?

  11. The value of the dollar is back on the rise because gas prices are falling once again. This is so people can actually aford to buy other thing instead of just gas and hire more people at their businesses. its one large interconnected system. All based on oil.

  12. Gas prices are going down, because of two reasons. The first is the tipping point of 4 dollars did not support wide usage of the product and drove supplies up, while reducing demand.

    The second is the increased pressure on politicians by the public to open up drilling for oil. Even Reed agreed that looking into drilling on leased sites by the government should be permitted. When a liberal says something like this, you know its because they are worried about public backlash in an election year.

    Drill Hear;

    Drill Now;

    Pay Less.

  13. cheapest here is 3.89, in avondale arizona so it is going down but not very much!

  14. We're paying about $4.40 per gallon regular here in NYC

  15. the day after george bush removed the ban on oastal drilling in the states opec rediced it's oil prices by somethig like $10 barrel

    that combined withthe fact that americansare finaly using less gas , will drive down the cost of oil farther.

    it just took a few weeks to see the price at the pumps.

    Nationaly the fed is going to increase intrest rates , which will hurt the housing market but help the mortage industry and help the failing mortage companies be stronger. this will also make the dolar stromger overseas. which will drive oil down again.

    I heard one predicytion that we will be paying $3 a gal by christmas time. I'll belive it when i see it. If our consumption goes right back up then it won't happen

  16. YES! Petro prices are below 4$!!! WHATTA BARGAIN!! Vote  Bush for third term!!! *rolleyes*

    E

  17. slowly but surely

  18. it's only temporary and oil prices are quite reflective of world issues unfortunately - that being said, there hasn't been any countries test firing missiles or tension in the middle east.

  19. yes, its part of the brainwashing scheme.....they make the dumb people of the US think that $3.80 is a bargain, so they can raise it to $4.30, and we will think that is cheap, then lower it to $4.20 so we think thats cheap, and so on

  20. yeaa where i live it went down from 3.98 to 3.74 which is awesome... but why?? who knows but yey!
