Well, it depends.

There is no exact amount.

If the economy goes bad, you know what's going to happen.

Inflation and depression across the country.

If U.S. got the permission to rack the Alaskan Natural habitats and get the oil under it.

Gas prices go down.

If gas prices continue to price with no changes at all,

Gas prices averaged across the nation would be about $4.50 to $11.20.

The 11-dollar gas price is for the Northern California and Southern Alaska part.

If the economy goes bad and inflations occur, the gas prices would be around $5.00 to $16.30 a gallon. I'm not kidding.

If the U.S. got the permission to open oil stations in Nothern Alaska, the gas prices would be around $1.50 to $6.00 per gallon.

In Canada it is 4.78 a US gallon right now.  We would be relieved if it were to stay as low as 4.90 a gallon for 2 years.

Most of the difference in price we pay is of course tax.
