  1. It's $1.257 per liter, not per gallon.

A gallon is 3.785 litres, thus making the Ontario prices $4.75 per gallon.

  2. when i went to google and typed it in and it calculated it said

it was 126.995967 U.S. dollars... that sounds a little crazy

  3. The value of 125.7 is in Canadian cents. It is the equivalent to saying $1.25 and 7/10ths.

And as someone mentioned, that is for a litre of gas, as we work on the metric system. If you take roughly four litres, that makes a US imperial gallon.

So you would be paying close to $5.00 per gallon.

And be thankful you are going to Ontario and not Quebec. Yesterday our pump prices rose to $1.42 and 9/10ths per litre, or roughly $5.70 per gallon here in Montreal.

  4. That's $125 per liter. That's roughly $4.75 / gallon US.

Man on the west coast of Canada here, our gas is currently at $1.39 liter ($5.26 / gallon).
