  1. in northeaster south dakota its about 3.39. I hear it wont end any time soon. Gas it supposed to get up to 4.00$ this summer! Our economy needs to staighten itself out! Not many trips this summer with these prices!

  2. i know    i think that he goverment should pay 4 it i mean we all use it  these oil companyes r making billions and billions and o ya billions

3.79 and 4.50 for desiel  ct

  3. Houston, TX $3.27 and it will only get higher until fall comes.

  4. Pittsburgh $3.49 Diesel $4.05

  5. I live in Albuquerque, NM. The local corner Phillips 66 is selling 86 regular for $3.75!!!! Yet our neighborhood Costco manages to sell 86 for $3.32, and 91 (Premo here) for $3.52. Makes no flipping sense, and I see no end ... well not anytime soon! These prices are being driven up by pure speculation and greed!

  6. depends on where you get gas but i buy at the 'cheapie' one at 3.39

  7. like john says; lots of complaints.   If the oil companies make too much ,  be the oil company by buying  shares in it and the billions will be yours.  If you buy a large SUV instead you'll be on the other side of the cash register.  tampa bay   3.65

  8. My dear friend, I live just across the river from St Louis Mo and its 3.69 a gal.  GOD Bless you.

  9. These gas prices are absolutely ridiculous.

This is effecting our economy terribly.

Have you seen crime go up in your area? More people losing there jobs because companies are losing money. More families without food and places to live.

Why should teenagers work, they wouldn't make enough to by gas to get  work.

We own a dump truck with diesel at 4.30/ gal and 100 gallon tank you are almost working to pay for gas. Something has to be done and I am sick of everyone blaming the other person.

  10. I live in Los Angeles, CA and regulars about 3.79 a gallon. My car runs on diesel so I have to deal with 4.39 a gallon. Gas prices around the world seem to be unchanged at least in Venezuela and Iraq. In Venezuela I've heard its as low as 15 cents and in Baghdad 25 cents.

  11. I'm in Buffalo, NY, and at Mobil it's $3.65 and $3.69 while at other stations the lowest I've seen, this week that is, is around $3.53. Last week I got gas at $3.47.

It was on the news that the prices are so high because people are not using as much gas.  Bull Roar. Why was it so high then when people were using more gas?  It's a political game. We are in it and we cannot get out.

I want to see the looks on the faces that blame Bush for everything little thing that is wrong.  When the prices don't go down when he's out of office, who will they blame then?

  12. I guess we're "lucky" here in Minnesota! The last I seen it was about $3.30/gallon.

  13. Allowing hedge funds to introduce the concept of insurance to the petroleum markets has meant a drastically rising effect on prices. President Bush could shut these down, but won't and the Democratic members of Congress knows that they can't push a law to stop it past his Republican minions who will uphold his veto. It's not impossible that a year or so after the Demos retake the White House that investors will complain that the price of oil has collapsed too low again.

  14. I live in N.California, low grade

    Sam's club 3.69 low grade

Safeway gas 3.69 with club card

    arco 3.75

    shell 3.89

    chevron 3.90

i have herd other places going to 4+ a gal

It will never end, and its still not cost effective for alt fuels.  right now it takes more energy to make the alt. fuel than the energy it produces.

the only way to develop alt. fuel to a more affordable efficient method is to deplete what fossil fuel we have left, then the company's have to do more research on the alt fuels.

  15. I live in southern Illinois,  and yesterday the prices at BPAmoco and Shell,  had gone to $3.69.9  per gallon.

My husband said he was pulling out his mountain bike and inflating the tires, and he would be using pedal power for a while.  lol!

    ps.....diesel is $409.9 per gallon!

and the $3.69  is for regular,  the other grades are .10 cents higher as you go up.  ~sigh~

  16. wen bush is out of office

  17. Gas prices in USA is the cheapest in the world, in Malaysia I pay 1.92 per litre in Malaysia(3.75 litres = 1 galon) and government subsidise the fuel prices. But it's cheaper than US fuel if you convert to US currency, in our own currency it's very expensive. US fuel prices is about 1 dollar per liter at current prices which is 3.75 per galon. Actually USA currency is high and all of you just pay 1 dollar per litre which is dirt cheap, I was paying 1 dollar per liter 10-15 years ago. US people have no idea how lucky and low is their fuel price, you have been so used to low fuel prices that you all have big gas guzzler's. We in other part of the world hasn't complained that much yet and I suggest you shouldn't complain.

  18. thats about the same here in tacoma

  19. I live in South Africa and we are paying R9-98\L

  20. Albany, NY -- 3.40 a gallon I believe.

My sisters boyfriend works for a gas dock.  Every place that sells their gas, for the most part get it from Getty.  So search around for the cheapest gas places, and you'll still get the same mileage.

  21. S.F. $4.02

There was an email circulating that said don't buy from Exon/Mobile as they are the largest and if we all went to other stations, they would have to lower their price and then the other would have to follow suit. Much like airline rate wars.

  22. 3.89 reg 4.80 diesel california

  23. I live in northern illinois to and its 3.65 is the cheapest.

  24. In Sydney, its around $1.50 per litre. I think that works out at roughly  $5.50 per gallon.  No government has be b^lls to take on these money hungry oil companies.  They just let them get away with their bs excuses for rising prices.  In Australia, our dollar is as strong as it has ever been, and still the prices go up.  For many countries, the price of fuel is not a real issue, but for countries like US, Canada and Australia, where there are vast distances to travel, it really hurts.
