Gas wasted???

How much Gas/Money do you think us, as individuals, waste in a life time considering getting lost, making trips that arent needed, ect.?

Oh, a lot.  But how would you define waste?

How much fossil fuel does someone waste by making a big movie that turns out to be lousy?  

How much effort and energy does it take to feed and educate a kid who turns out to be a criminal?  

What is anyone's life worth, anyway?  

It's tricky.

It's human nature to be wasteful unless you live in a country where money, jobs, food etc are in short supply.
