Gas will be $4.00 plus in the next few weeks!!?

I've heard gas prices will climb past $4.00 in the next few weeks! I think its rediculous! What do y'all think?

Here in Marin County (15 minutes north of San Francisco), it's already $3.99/gallon.

That sounds reasonable.  

The cost of oil in the US has gone up because the government has sunk the dollar bailing out mortgages.  High oil price leads to high gas price.

It is I total agree with you,we have our on oil here in america,it will soar past that and You can't live without it, look for everything to be going up.

it's quite possible, who would have thought with no major hurricanes in the past 2-3 years, that the prices would go up to our present level ?? it seems now that if their is even a hint of bad weather the price goes up....we are being held hostage only because we live in a very large country..some, due to their situation are forced to drive 1+ hours one way to work.....bring back the 40 mpg + small car for under 10,000.00..we do need to change something and each of us needs to re evaluate our situation and see what is best for us..it's not easy to change, but it can be done, just at what cost???
