  1. The molecules that make up liquids are closely knit together, due to this proximity, there are lots of interraction between them and therefore less freedom to move around, gases on the other hand do not have as much interraction and are therefore freer to move around as the molecules are far apart and hence less intermolecular reactions and less rigidity


  2. Interactions between molecules of gases are very weaker than interactions between molecules of liquids , so they are more mobile.

  3. because their molecules are less dense more freedom to move
