What are the requirements (such as age) to drive a gas powered scooter in New Jersey?

You have to register it, but I don't think there are any other requirements.

i was only 11 when i drove a gasoline scooter but idk

There will be a minimum age and if they require plates you need a mso so you can get a title. And if you ride on streets you will probably need insurance. There may also be safety concerns like tire size, brake power, horn , turn signals and  exhaust.
