Gasoline alternative used to be sold at Sams Club, Costco, BJ's etc.?

Used to come in a 1 gallon Jug, and was $20. Was not flammable, and was clear. Used for if you ran out of gas. What was this stuff and why don't we see it anymore?

I'm afraid that's just an urban myth.  There is no non-flammable substitute for gasoline.

Two problems with it. It really was flammable (law suits when it burned the car down) and "20 BUCKS" a gallon. It was bound to fail.
