Gasoline has gone up AGAIN!?

Question

What in the world am I going to do? I haven't got my car paid off yet and I can't afford to trade it in and get a hybrid. I live about 15 or 20 miles from work and it would be a long ride (in the Texas heat) to pedal a bicycle back and forth to since there is noone who lives close by to carpool with. Is there an answer?

Pray to god and ask him to lower gas prices

Also use a motorcycle if you have one.

Plus if you use shell or other gasoline stations apply for a credit card there and use it. They have rewards programs like 25 cents off a gallon of gas. Try it

A hyrid saves you nothing!!!  It costs more, and uses gas at highway speed anyway!!  I think your best bet is just keep going to work and nowhere else....pick up everything you need along the way and dont go anywhere on weekends...sorry, cheap gas is gone forever...

Everyone is panicking right now. We are all in the same boat so just sit back and wait a little bit and see what happens. Hybrids are not the answer.Besides if you trade just to say you have one to get better mileage by the time you figure all other expenses to get it plus the hybrid maintenance you may be better to keep the car you have. Right now you just have to cut down extra driving and change your driving habits. When you panick you make bad decisions. Step back and take a deep breath and think out your next step and in a few months you will see whats going on..................UJN

you think this is bad? people are saying its gonna be over $200.00 a barell, when it hits that gas will be around 8.00 a gallon! insanee

I am in the same boat, if you find an answer let me know. Gas here is $3.99. Isn't that just wonderful. I live in Ma.
