Gateway M3A laptop DC power connector problem

Hello,I have a Gateway laptop I have had intermittent problems with the power connection. Under warranty, we had the MD and HDD replacedto fix it. It seemed better, but still every now and then intermittent.Now, we can not wiggle or anything to get it to work. I have 2 powerconverter cables, tried both. Also tried with battery in and out.Do I need to preplace the dc power connection?thanks,Tim
